Asking for Help: Working Together to Protect Nature
No organization, community group, or individual can address nature-related challenges alone. The Nature Nova Scotia Culture Change Initiative is committed to helping people and organizations connect, collaborate, and support one another in protecting nature across Nova Scotia.
You May Request Support help which could include, but is not limited to:
• Stewardship and conservation initiatives
• Public engagement and education efforts
• Volunteer recruitment
• Partnership building
• Advocacy and awareness campaigns
• Land-use and ecological concerns
• Culture change initiatives
• Events and community projects
• Organizational planning and collaboration
What Happens After You Submit a Request?
• The Culture Change Committee will review your submission.
• We may contact you to learn more about your initiative.
• Where appropriate, we will help connect you with organizations, expertise, resources, or opportunities within our network by putting your request on our website for our Nature Champions network to see and/or in our newsletter.
This invitation is rooted in a simple belief: we are stronger when we work together.
By sharing challenges, opportunities, and lessons across organizations and communities, we build collective capacity, deepen trust, and strengthen our ability to care for and protect the lands and waters we cherish. Asking for help is an act of leadership and stewardship that helps create the conditions for nature and communities to flourish together.

To get support from other organizations/public with an initiative or issue your organization is currently addressing.
HIGHLIGHT A POSITIVE PROJECT:
To highlight a positive project/initiative that your organization would like to promote to get the public involved.
